Java is Once Again Remaking the Internet

In 2011, Bob Lee, Chief Technology Officer at Square and former Google engineer, announced that the web was “on the cusp of a Java renaissance.” It’s now 2013, and that renaissance is here.

Over the past few years, Java has become the primary foundation for many of the world’s largest and most visited websites, including Google, Linkedin, and Twitter. According to Lee, “for companies with extreme performance requirements and extreme scalability requirements, there is really is no viable alternative.”

This, however, is something InetSoft has known for some time. We first released Style Intelligence to the world in 1996. It was then, is now, and always has been, a 100% Java application.
