IT Services Provider EuroSpace Selects InetSoft's Style Scope for Travel Expense Management Solutions

Cites customization, data modelling, and security as reasons for selection

February 12, 2018 - Piscataway NJ - InetSoft Technology, a pioneer in data intelligence, analytics, and reporting, announced that IT Service Provider EuroSpace has selected Style Scope for integration into their travel expense management application.

Based out of Milan, Italy, EuroSpace has been providing information technology services to a variety of clients and companies since 1995. Their technical department services range from simple cable testing to managing entire multisites network infrastructures with cluster servers and firewalls. Their development department designs websites and web based applications for their clients. Several years ago, EuroSpace designed the cloud based CTMP, or Corporate Travel Management Portal, which helps companies manage the work related travel services expenses of their employees. CTMP is currently used by more than 20 companies and over 70,000 users.

One of the companies using CTMP is a power management company whose employees travelled frequently. In addition to the functionality already offered, the power company wanted a real-time dashboard on which they could see aggregates of rates, savings, and any other factors that could potentially affect travel costs. They wanted to see where most of their travel expenses were, what were the most common trips and destinations, the preferences of train or plane, the most used hotels, etc. The data mashup and analysis required to meet these informational needs were not a part of the CTMP portal at the time, so it was time for EuroSpace start shopping for a BI tool to integrate into their product's portal.

EuroSpace put together a list of five requirements for selecting a BI tool to integrate: it had to be intuitive, it needed robust data inquiry customization, it needed support for external or offline databases and the ability to pull data from multiple databases at once, it needed to be white label friendly, and it needed to support HTTPS. On all of these requirements, InetSoft's Style Scope passed with flying colors.

"Our Project Manager Sandro Bianchini asked us to explore the BI market for something that was intuitive, but could manage powerful data inquiry customization," explains Alessandro Zorlone, Computer Scientist at EuroSpace. "InetSoft's solution had everything that we needed in terms of support, customization, and self-service."

"As a developer in the BI space for over 20 years, InetSoft understands the integration needs of software providers," expresses Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft. "With a white-label friendly customizable portal, InetSoft's Style Scope can be seamlessly incorporated into any web-based solution, without end users even being aware of it."

InetSoft's Style Scope is a data intelligence platform. At its foundation is a powerful data mashup engine that enables fast and flexible transformation of data from disparate sources, which can either supplement or obviate a data warehouse solution. At the development level, a unified interface allows for easy and advanced data manipulation and design of interactive dashboards, visual analyses, and published reporting. At the consumption level, self-service is maximized for a range of users, from casual business or consumer-type browsers, to power users and data scientists.

As a cloud-ready, fully scalable enterprise-grade platform with granular security, multi-tenancy support, and multiple integration points, it serves both enterprises and solution providers. In either environment, ease of deployment and ease of use are chief development principles that help lower the time investment and total cost of ownership - and make the solution attractive to organizations of any size, with or without BI expertise.
