Salesforce.com’s Users Get New Level of Self-service Access to Custom Fields for Dashboards and Reports
Piscataway, NJ - September 10, 2009 - InetSoft Technology (www.inetsoft.com), an innovator in dashboard, reporting and analysis solutions, today announced a new version of its business intelligence application for salesforce.com users. This version features a new self-service data modeling capability that permits custom objects and fields in the salesforce CRM database to be used in custom designed dashboards and reports. InetSoft’s BI product is the first in the salesforce.com AppExchange to offer this capability.
Style Intelligence for Salesforce is a business intelligence software application that allows salesforce.com customers to gain better insight into their sales, marketing and service operations data using interactive, Flash-based analytical and monitoring dashboards and drillable, flexibly designed reports. The application includes thirteen prebuilt dashboards and reports that offer immediate productivity, plus a drag-and-drop self-service custom dashboard and report designer. In addition to providing more visually compelling operational dashboards, the application also enables sophisticated, but intuitive, visual analysis with a multi-dimensional charting engine and point and click input controls such as filter box lists, drop-down selection lists, and range sliders.
Deeper insights and advanced analytics are made possible by the storage of historical snapshots of all changes in sales pipeline, marketing campaign, and customer service case handling data. Key performance indicators such as:
- average time spent in each stage of the sales pipeline,
- time to convert a lead to an opportunity, and
- average case handle time
are automatically calculated. Comparing current performance to historical metrics such as these permit useful analyses such as:
- comparing the current performance of marketing campaigns in progress to previous ones, at the corresponding point in the campaign,
- identifying outliers, or “stuck opportunities,” in the sales funnel, and
- gauging whether year-to-date sales are on track to hit plan using historical, seasonal patterns.
