Features of a Good Operational Intelligence Solution
Business Activity Dashboard – Display results in a dashboard so key performance indicators (KPIs) and easy-to-understand visualizations can be displayed in real-time
Complex Data Processing – Relate and aggregate discrete information from many data sources in the underlying systems, understanding the relationships they form
Business Intelligence – Analyze, query and drill into data visualizations and, at the same time, dynamically repurpose and re-aggregate the data among different pivot points
Business Process – Be “aware” of the steps in a business process so end users can observe the complete trade lifecycle, from the time an order has been entered to the final state of execution
Enterprise Integration – Reach out and capture any kind of source data from anywhere in the IT infrastructure, in any format
Cross Domain Data Mashup – Model the trading environment from any perspective that represents the “business” and relate all of this information to assemble a complete understanding of what it takes to “run” the business
With InetSoft, businesses gain a new kind of actionable business intelligence and insight. InetSoft leverages the best capabilities from key technologies and brings them together for an operational intelligence solution. InetSoft delivers analytics, visual metrics, analysis of key performance indicators and the ability to take automated actions – all within a dynamic and customizable end user interface.
The “Power” of InetSoft
InetSoft allows you to easily collect and model data from any source and from any system. In the InetSoft development environment, you easily define the sources of trade execution data and create data relationships in a simple “point and click” development framework. After building data relationships, you then add business conditions using a wealth of built-in analytical functions to construct aggregated metrics.
After connecting to the data sources the Data Mashup Engine collects data incrementally from the data sources to be stored inthe Data Grid Cache. The Data Mashup Engine also performs the aggregations based on the mashup definitions, computes the metrics, and feeds it into the Data Grid Cache which is immediately makes the metrics available to the Visualization Engine.
The Visualization Engine controls the entitlements for the end users and the visualization of the metrics to the various stakeholder dashboards. It also controls the “automated actions” that are transmited to the underlying source infrastructure.
