InetSoft News

"As we dug deep in the delivery of technology solutions for real-time intelligence, we realized the power of big data analytics and how it drives solutions that mitigate against the most critical uncertainties affecting an organization's objectives," states Gilbert Mwalili, Executive Director of Risk Africa Innovatis.

CoreValue was manually exporting CVS reports out of their database in Amazon Web Services, but wanted to offer their clients more robust reporting. InetSoft's Style Intelligence offered this, as well as interactive dashboards with drilldown capabilities. InetSoft offered flexible deployment pricing that gave CoreValue the option of starting small and expanding their usage later on. InetSoft also offered a monthly subscription model, which aligned more closely with CoreValue's budgetary constraints.

Procomer wanted to provide their end users with an on premise ad hoc reporting tool that could pull data from their SQL Server Database. Features such as a user administration module and transaction logging were important requirements. There were also budgetary restrictions, so Procomer wanted a service that they could begin with as a subscription based small deployment, with the option to add users later on as their reporting budget expanded.

"We needed a reporting tool that our non-technical users could adapt to their needs," says Francis Perez Mateu, Head of IT at Caixa Ontinyent. "Style Intelligence was both easy to use for those business users, but also powerful enough for our IT staff."

"In such a cluttered marketplace, being ranked as a standout based primarily on customer reviews is a gratifying accomplishment," commented Mark Flaherty, CMO at InetSoft. "For the second year in a row, our customers have given us such high ratings in customer support, product reliability, and return on investment."

PTS Solutions was looking for an analytics solution to embed into their existing products, one that would display relevant data in dashboards and visualizations. Custom notifications, such as those displaying daily or monthly updates were a feature of interest. Map charts displaying regional data were also a desired function. InetSoft's Style Scope was found to have all of these desired functions as well as white label friendliness, making it a good choice for embedding. InetSoft's Style Scope also features materialized views, a useful function given the sheer amount of data that PTS Solutions is working with.

"One of our differentiators is delivering an advanced data analytics solution that can be deployed and managed without dedicated BI developers. In fact, for many of our mid-sized customers, only a fractional headcount is required, meaning an IT staffer with database skills is all that is required, and only a portion of his or her time is spent throughout a month in supporting users or maintaining the software," explains Mark Flaherty, CMO at InetSoft. "Our advances in lowering the cost of ownership via support for Docker and Kubernetes further help the average business who has constrained IT resources. Nonetheless, even the largest of enterprises benefit from this release since their deployment spans a cluster of machines. Automating software updates this way lowers their resource costs, as well."

"We wanted to offer our clients more insights into their data, with key metrics displayed in an intuitive way," expresses Alessandra Ullo, BI Specialist at Save Consulting Group. "InetSoft's tool enables us to do that with an interface that is user friendly to both developers and end users."

Lean BI Tech needed a white label dashboard tool to integrate into Decision Beacon, for enhanced reporting and analytics. After evaluating several solutions, they settled on InetSoft's data intelligence tool, Style Scope.

"I needed to find a tool that could manage manipulating and combining data into a structure that I could then build a dashboard on," explains Susan DiBiccari, IT Consultant at Focus. "InetSoft's tool allowed me to do that with a simple drag and drop interface."

InetSoft is rated as "Strong" in TEC's novel Insight Report on BI & Analytics. TEC's unique approach to rating business intelligence vendors combines user ratings and detailed reviews of product features and capabilities. Senior business software analysts at TEC collected and combined these two data stacks, software functionalities and software customer experience, with their years of expertise to arrive at a uniquely holistic and data-driven interpretation of the market.

The Top Performer designation is awarded to vendors with significant market presence and enough customer success content to validate their vision. Top Performers' products are highly rated by their customers but have not achieved the customer base and scale of a Market Leader. Highly rated by customers, InetSoft consistently publishes high quality, vendor produced customer success content and curates quality customer references from multiple third-party sites.

"The power and flexibility of our data mashup engine has been a crucial differentiator for our business intelligence platform, so the broadening of enterprise data source connectivity to proprietary application providers is a natural development," commented Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft. "And with the addition of new chart types, we believe organizations of all sizes have a great option for building analyses and dashboards that generate insights from the widest possible view of their business."

"With this update to our popular tracking dashboard, we believe we are mashing up the most data possible and applying advanced analytic techniques to help individuals and institutions better track positive and negative developments," offered Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft.

"InetSoft had the right combination of price, visualization capability, and interactivity to meet our needs," explains Mike Gindlesperger, Manager of Information and Technology Services at KDL. "Some of our more hands on customers are really going to enjoy InetSoft's ad hoc editing on interactive dashboards."

"We are very pleased to have been ranked so highly in such a crowded marketplace. To earn such a position based on customer satisfaction and market presence is an honor and a great reflection on the company's commitment to delivering better ROI for analytic and dashboarding software," stated Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft.

"We are pleased to score so highly in such a crowded marketplace," comments Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft. "Putting the customer first in everything we do from product development, to pre-purchase evaluation assistance, to deployment ramp up acceleration, and ongoing responsiveness in technical support has set us apart from the larger, less customer-friendly competitors."

"With these much anticipated, market-driven updates to our data intelligence solution, we continue to strive to make advanced analytics and interactive dashboarding as widely accessible as possible," comments Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft.

"We are very pleased to have been ranked so highly in such a crowded marketplace. To be positioned among the top 4 out of 130 vendors is an honor and a great reflection on the company's commitment to making analytic and dashboarding software as accessible and usable as possible," stated Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft.

"Now that I've got something that's going to start out costing only a few thousand to get in the door, I can get a lot of organizations started with BI who would otherwise not be able to afford the tools," explains Roger Simon, President of Griffin-Schruers. "In addition to making BI more available to small businesses, the affordability of InetSoft's tool gives organizations in the developing world a chance to leverage data intelligence as well."

"Our Project Manager Sandro Bianchini asked us to explore the BI market for something that was intuitive, but could manage powerful data inquiry customization," explains Alessandro Zorlone, Computer Scientist at EuroSpace. "InetSoft's solution had everything that we needed in terms of support, customization, and self-service."

"Right away from the first demonstration, we were very impressed with just how easy everything looked, it seemed too good to be true," exclaims Chris Garvey, IT Coordinator at Brenk Brothers. "And since we've gotten our hands on the software, everything we've thrown at it it's been able to do."

Key to the company's inclusion on the QuickBooks platform is the success of the Bison System, which enables organizations to scale up on QuickBooks. As businesses grow, and their business intelligence needs become more sophisticated, the Bison System allows them to consolidate their data and create actionable financial dashboards and reports using their QuickBooks data.

"InetSoft's level of self-service extends even beyond the dashboard or report level. End-users can use the InetSoft data worksheet to do their own data mashups and add conditions and calculations to risk management data as it's coming into the dashboard or report. These are functions that would normally require an in-depth knowledge of SQL to perform. "The beauty of this is that even users who are not tech savvy can learn what data tables they want to use and drag them onto a data worksheet," exclaims April Pethybridge, Information Architect at Protecht. "When we demo the product, we can tell how excited our users are to no longer have to go through IT for dashboard or data modifications."

"This is an exciting release because it further lowers the TCO of our solution and widens the end-user adoption possibilities," comments Mark Flaherty, CMO at InetSoft. "Getting end-user support cost savings by upgrading a version should be very welcome news for our installed base. In term of the Spark technology move, this is compelling not only because of its attractiveness to organizations who already use Spark, but because organizations with "small data" environments now have such as an easy path to growing into big data ones as their own datasets grow organically in size. Not only do they not have to worry about outgrowing a solution, but they don't have to worry about later spending on new expertise and tools to accommodate their growth."

"In the Fall 2016 Business Intelligence Platforms Implementation Index Report, InetSoft's Style Intelligence received the award for highest user adoption," said Marty Duffy, director of research for G2 Crowd. "Style Intelligence was rated as one of the top three products in the category and beat the average user adoption in the category by 26 percent."

"When showing our data scientists how to use the tool, I realized that they really weren't used to having this kind of flexibility when it came to security," explains Steven Oh, Manager of IT at Unicircuit. "They were thrilled to learn that they could set up different data tables isolating specific data for departments, and assign individual access permissions as well."

"We had a long list of requirements for a reporting and BI tool, but when it came to creating dashboards and reports, InetSoft hit a sweet spot for both price and flexibility," explains Brett Ferlin, Systems Manager at Gold Standard Baking. "I appreciate that almost anything that our decision makers dream up can be created."

"InetSoft is helping us to close the door on manual touches by providing a robust and dynamic platform for automation and optimization," explains John Miller, Director of Business Solutions at TSG. "With InetSoft's tool, we're expecting to save a solid 50 hours a week on report generation alone."

"Our product development goals are centered on making data intelligence easier and more efficient, both for enterprises and solution providers," comments Mark Flaherty, CMO at InetSoft. "Self-service access to information is a capability of most business intelligence applications, but solving the data management problems most organizations face is what makes ours a data intelligence solution. This product release continues our march to making the delivery of ubiquitous business intelligence more attainable and efficient."

"Besides getting the attractive visualization application that powers self-service oriented data exploration, Amazon users get our powerful data mashup engine," comments Mark Flaherty, CMO at InetSoft. "This part of the application sets us apart from the other solutions already found in the AWS marketplace because it solves the data management problems that most organizations stumble over when trying to create their ideal dashboards or analyses. Data transformation and manipulation can be done on the fly without having to introduce or re-architect a data warehouse. And users also get the performance boosting technology of our data access layer, the hybrid disk and memory-based caching that uses MapReduce principles to optimally serve data for a given dashboard or analysis."

'I was wondering if the design of my databases would make sense to a management kind of person, who would be using them for ad hoc reports,' explains Jim Balint, Director of Technology at Whitebridge. 'But InetSoft's logical models enable me to map different attributes by ids as opposed to embedding the actual text of the table column. So I now have the freedom to design my databases with traditional relational structures and then substitute those attributes in by mapping to their corresponding values in the underlying tables. That's really powerful.'

"We are happy to make this free dashboard and analytics application available as a way of showcasing our advanced business intelligence technology and expanding awareness for our commercial solutions," comments Mark Flaherty, CMO at InetSoft. "Anyone can see for themselves what easy and agile business intelligence looks like, while getting real value out of the experience at the same time."

'When our programmers are busy developing and adding to our core application, it doesn't make sense to take them away to build reports when there's a tool that allows non-technical users to do the same thing,' Bryan Bernard, President of TechKnowledge explains. 'InetSoft is going to save us time and money and deliver better results for our customers.'

'What makes the biggest difference for us is the ability for management to open a dashboard and find the information they need to assess business strategy,' explains Jason Mcintyre, Manager of IT at Winning Streak. 'In addition, Style Scope was also the only software on the market that was capable of reading our data directly from our FileMaker 13 Database.'

"We are very pleased with these findings. We know there are many good options on the market today, but this strong of a review gives reason for someone to look at a challenger type of vendor such as InetSoft," comments Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft.

"We are thrilled to announce the certification of the InetSoft platform. With the increasing demand for agile and robust business intelligence solutions, enterprises using Spark can leverage a BI platform with proven experience across verticals to deploy or embed full-featured business intelligence solutions," said John Tripier, Alliance and Ecosystem lead at Databricks.

"With performance reporting, you're trying to transform the data into the visualization, enabling that 'ah-ha' moment,' said Jim Dugger, director of product management, Worksoft. 'What we have with InetSoft is a straight-forward, intuitive solution for our field experts, giving us the flexibility we need to do that in each unique engagement."

"We've demonstrated some of the visualizations for the Ministry of Education (of New Zealand), and they are very impressed with the way that our platform allows educators to interact with their student data," explains Jan Gunn, General Manager of Assembly. "They have expressed that they find that this kind of productive visualization technology is not available in other educational platforms that are in use throughout the school system."

"One of our product development goals is to make access to business intelligence as pervasive as possible," comments Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft. "This release delivers on that goal, widening and enhancing access no matter the device preference, the physical location, or the technology environment."

"With InetSoft's solution, we can give easy access to all of our institution's data, enabling staff, managers, and executives to receive vital information in a much more efficient and timely manner," explains Curt Dodds, Director of IT at Simpson University. "And with a significant reduction of IT costs, we feel that we are receiving a high value for the total cost of ownership of this technology solution."

"The first thing that stood out about Style Scope was its ease of use and rich graphical interface," says Mike Grosse, Chief Technical Officer at Sullivan U. "But what's really making a difference for us is the ability to give our executives immediate access to specific up-to-date information that's presented in a format that is easy to use and understand. Style Scope gives our decision-makers a better way to distinguish perceptions from reality."

'Our clients wanted something interactive, something that they could change on the fly,' explains Keith Stone, COO of Intellitrends. 'Also, some of our international manufacturing clients had data from multiple plants in multiple countries, so they needed something that could combine that data into a single view.'

Mark Flaherty, CMO of InetSoft, adds, "Getting such high marks from our customers, especially relative to our BI provider peers, is something to be very proud of, of course. As an innovator in a cluttered marketplace, we hope this strong performance helps encourage other organizations to include InetSoft in their consideration set for solving their information management and analytics challenges."

'Prior to this report, it took one person 10 hours a week to create this information manually,' exclaims Jim Schnurr, Director of Customer Solutions at Hillcrest. 'With Style Intelligence, not only do we save 500 man hours every year, but the previous overseer of this process is allowed to manage other segments of business. This better time utilization is spent on projects that are more profitable for the company.'

On the value of trust, Mark Flaherty, CMO of InetSoft Technology, states "InetSoft knows individuals make a choice whether to share their contact information with a company. We hope to gain their confidence by being as transparent as possible and providing simple tools to control their communications preferences once personal data is processed. Privacy is a major concern of everyone's, and InetSoft makes sure that the privacy of our prospects' and clients' information is protected."

A. Ozen Akyurek, General Manager of Ventura Software, expects InetSoft's software to reduce report development costs and help managers to manage their organizations more efficiently. "We were searching for a dashboard solution, and InetSoft was the best option," says Akyurek. "We selected InetSoft over other vendors due to our positive experience evaluating the product. InetSoft is more flexible, easier to use, and easier to develop for than other products we looked at."

Mark Flaherty, CMO of InetSoft, comments "Besides a cosmetic refresh of our user interface and meeting the market's demand for more big data connectivity, the driving theme of this release was to build on our position of offering the most IT-friendly implementation of self-service business intelligence. This has been a major win factor for us once the end-user community is satisfied with the dashboarding and analytics capabilities. The people who need to deploy and support the solution gravitate to us because they find the application easy to set up through the evaluation process, and they see the power of the breadth of customization capabilities from portal embedding to programmatic control of asset generation."

Tom Simon, CEO and President of MyiOffice, elaborates: "With InetSoft, our users now have access to many new benefits. For instance, they can now reduce the time it takes to go from data capture to data presentation, resulting in more efficient timely reports. Additionally, we have developed connectors that speed customization and will continue to do so for each industry as we expand. Our ability to affect backend processes from report scripts provides a very powerful tool to manipulate data on the fly."

Sherman Roberts, Business Analyst at Emory Law School, believes the greatest benefit from using InetSoft's Style Scope has been that all key decision makers have shared access to critical institutional data. "Our users are able to customize views to their specific needs, ranging from macro to micro level access to the data and related visualizations," he adds. "We were determined to identify a product that provided ease-of-use and accessibility. Additionally, InetSoft's mobile adaptability and compatibility with Mac-OS were important selection criteria."

Now, with our partnership, we provide the tools to empower average business users to do in-depth analysis easily, without a learning curve, and without IT involvement." "The true beauty of this partnership is that QuickBooks companies get real analytics and dashboards with little to no effort. Growth-centered companies can compete more effectively with the deep analytics power this partnership provides. QuickBooks ProAdvisors are finally provided the necessary tools to consult with their clients instead of having to wrestle with building complicated reports."

InetSoft Technology, an innovator in data mashup driven dashboard and reporting solutions, announced Product Evangelist Byron Igoe is joining a panel of industry experts and BI vendors to discuss the topic of the "Consumerization of Business Intelligence." Joining Byron on this live DM Radio broadcast are hosts Eric Kavanagh and Justin Kern, Tracie Kambies of Deloitte, Ray Major of Halo, and Francois Ajenstat of Tableau Software.

Domenic Parisi, the Team Leader of the ABS Business Reporting Group, revealed why Style Intelligence was chosen: "InetSoft was selected to deliver a product to the organization that was user friendly and provided a generic tool set that could connect to many supported data sources. The objective was to spend time producing the information that people wanted rather than building a reporting system. It needed to be user customizable, easy to use and develop, have an extensive feature set, and support both batch or near real-time data access."

Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft comments, "With the aim of business intelligence tools to help people make better decisions faster, these feature additions fit in nicely. The more we can facilitate information sharing and streamline people's efforts using our software, the more return our customers get out of their investment."

Areos Ledesma, Solutions Director at AIM Consulting, was the project lead for this collaboration. "We chose Style Intelligence because of its flexibility in configuration, security, and user interface. It has the capability to include graphics and up-to-date dashboard information for fast turn around and consumption. The BI solution we are implementing is built in a private cloud with connectivity to over a dozen data sources, and this number will grow soon. This required us to design a solution able to respond to business needs quickly by extending reporting capabilities with additional data sources without operational disruption or down time with the reporting services. Lastly, the scalability and performance enables other business units and departments within our client organization to become internal customers and leverage the software. These are key benefits of Style Intelligence."

"InetSoft has distinguished itself as a leading provider of agile BI capabilities," says Jeff Zabin, research director at Gleanster who co-authored the report. "Highly favorable feedback from InetSoft clients attest to the benefits its solution delivers to the marketplace."

For Pr. Andrea Borsoi, Visiting Professor of Management, "the opportunity to use full-version business intelligence software with management students is invaluable, as it allows them to experience a level of realism not possible in limited environments. A hands-on experience leads to a deeper learning and understanding of core concepts, which in turn add to the readiness and employability of our students. We offer a wide selection of undergraduate and graduate courses in management and found that the Academic Alliance Program would be a perfect complement for their consulting skills, key performance indicator, data analytics, and information dashboards courses."

InetSoft Technology, an innovator in data mashup driven dashboard and reporting solutions, announced CMO Mark Flaherty is joining a panel of industry experts discuss data visualization. Joining Mark are hosts Eric Kavanagh and Jim Ericson, Wayne Eckerson of the BI Leadership Forum, Dale Skeen of Vitria, and Vinaya Rao of MindTree.

Chris Edge, Senior Lead Architect, Software, Business Intelligence at the MUSIC Group comments, "we chose Style Intelligence for a number of reasons. First off, it is a unified platform for dashboarding and reporting is more efficient from an information publishing standpoint and much simpler for our information consumers. It also meets an important requirement for browser independence on both desktop and tablet devices with no client apps to manage. Lastly, we found the licensing model attractive."

Garth Miles, Corporate Director of Information Technology at Theragenics, explains, "We chose InetSoft's business intelligence solution for its simplicity and vast number of accessible applications coupled with a licensing structure that best suits Theragenics. So far, we have found the greatest benefit of this new dashboarding tool to be the variety of different data repositories it can interface with, and its ease-of-use for both developers and business users."

"With these data connectors, we continue to round out the range of information that users can monitor in dashboards and interactively explore using our business intelligence software," explained Mark Flaherty, Chief Marketing Officer at InetSoft. "We see the continued evolution of business users wanting to build the complete picture of corporate performance, which means drawing the lines between multiple operational systems. Whether the data is in the cloud or on premise, our Style Intelligence platform provides that data virtualization and visualization solution."

InetSoft Technology, an innovator in data mashup driven dashboard and reporting solutions, announced Senior Technologist Byron Igoe is participating on a panel of industry experts to discuss why data visualization technology helps businesses.
